I hardly know where to start with this review. Honestly, I’d give Trevor and the whole team at FFG 10 stars out of five.

Last year, I went through a divorce, and for the first time in 30 years, I had to learn to manage my own money, something my husband had always taken care of. I quickly realized what a mistake I had made in not keeping my knowledge in the financial arena up to date. As I tried to navigate my way through bank accounts, the stock market, IRA’s and pensions, one thing became quite clear: I wanted someone to help guide me. Not to take over completely, but to give me advice and be a resource I could come to with my multitude of questions.

I was lucky enough to get Trevor’s name from someone who was already working with him. I was surprised how quickly I felt comfortable with him. There was never any pressure to sign on, simply a wealth of knowledge and experience that he was happy to share.

He introduced me to the other members of the FFG family, and I was delighted to learn that I could turn to them for help with taxes and legal issues (such as forming a new trust and updating my will and AHCD). They are a most comprehensive group!

I must say though, my favorite part of working with FFG has been having Trevor as my financial advisor. From the start, he made me feel right at home, always ready to patiently answer any question. Even if I text him on a weekend, and tell him there’s no need to get back to me before Monday, before the hour is up, he has reached out with a text or call. He’s an excellent mentor for me, willing to share as much as I want to know about the stock market and other financial concerns, without overloading me with more esoteric details, unless I ask for them. He even had his team sort out a complicated brokerage account issue for my ex-husband and myself, as well as filing our joint tax return at no additional expense.

Truly, throughout what has been a quite trying year for me, Trevor and the whole family at FFG have been a welcome reassuring place to turn. Choosing FFG remains one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long while. I would happily recommend them to friends and family alike.

But it is rare to find a high level of expertise that those degrees confer combined with character, honesty, professionalism, and integrity.
