Biography
Carine was born and raised in Sonoma County, California. She graduated from Sonoma State University in 2004, with a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. Carine accepted an internship for a local public accounting firm during her senior year at Sonoma State for the 2004 tax season. After a successful tax season internship, she was offered a full-time staff accountant position. Carine then went on to spend the next fifteen years with this local public firm. At the beginning of her career, she attained her CPA license. During her time at the firm, she gained valuable experience managing both individual and business tax clients. Carine worked with many high wealth individuals, most often the family owners of the business clients she also worked with. Also, during this time Carine gained valuable experience working with clients of the wine industry. She left the firm in 2019, as a Senior Manager in the Tax Department, to spend more time with her family. In 2020, Carine got back into the tax world and worked part-time at another local tax return preparation firm. Late in 2020, and into the 2021 tax season she was excited for the opportunity to dive further back into the workforce with the tax team at Fiduciary Financial Group.
