Biography
Spending most of his youth in Hillsboro, Oregon, Ben moved to Boise to pursue a business degree at Boise State University and to explore the Idaho outdoors. Working various jobs since early in high school, he became discouraged by their dead ends and began taking education more seriously. During his junior year, he had the leadership opportunity to run the Financial Management Association (FMA) with three friends on campus. Enjoyment in the club and its culture soon led to months of networking and taking trips to firms across the country. Ben was introduced to wealth management when he began working as the Executive Assistant for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Idaho, meeting Richard who was Vice President at the time. Above all else, the Fiduciary Duty stood out as a unique and well-meaning standard compared to other industries.
Excited at the opportunity to work in the industry away from a large corporate firm, Ben began working with FFG just before quarantine began. He graduated in May 2021 and is now pursuing his career in the tax and financial planning worlds through certification studies.
