Our relationship with FFG began in late 2020 as Shelly approached retirement. I’ve worked with FFG since they started. I used to run a large stock portfolio management company that sold software to financial advisors. This means I met a LOT of them.

I stay with FFG because many advisors will tell you how they will outperform the market. These guys know it’s REALLY hard to massively outperform the market but VERY easy to underperform the market in down economies. They are focused on right sizing investments to risk appetite, and for me personally I have done pretty well vs the market and a LOT better than the market when it tanks.

These guys aren’t $50MM client heavy where you can’t ever get time with them, I talk to them several times a quarter and they prove over and over that they have my back as my situation and the economy changes.

I’ve been working with FFG for years for taxes and this year moved into financial management and planning. They’ve done an awesome job of helping me plan a big life decision and making me feel financially prepared. We did budgeting to understand my spend, and then ran projections to see how my decision would affect me in the near term, medium term, and retirement. They advise me on employment stock plan strategy and individual investment strategy outside of the funds they manage.
