Braxton was born and raised in Idaho, growing up just south of Sun Valley in Hailey. He became an Idaho CPA in July 2021 after earning his BS in Accounting and his Master of Science in Taxation from Boise State University.
He specializes in business income tax for both pass-through entities and corporations, state and local taxation, and individual income tax. His career began in 2018 at a mid-sized CPA firm in Boise and Nampa, where he worked closely with small-business owners on the federal and state tax aspects of pass-through entities and guided many through legally forming new business entities and meeting the requirements of doing business in new states.
Braxton joined FFG in the fall of 2022, drawn by the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of both financial advisors and CPAs and to broaden his understanding of every financial need a client may have, above and beyond the income tax return.
