Ben spent most of his youth in Hillsboro, Oregon, then moved to Boise to pursue a business degree at Boise State University and explore the Idaho outdoors. During his junior year he helped lead the Financial Management Association on campus, which led to months of networking and trips to firms across the country. He was introduced to wealth management while working as executive assistant for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Idaho, where he met Richard, then the association's Vice President. Above all, the fiduciary duty stood out to him as a uniquely well-meaning standard.
Excited to work in the industry away from a large corporate firm, Ben joined FFG just before the pandemic. He graduated in May 2021 and continues to build his career in tax and financial planning through ongoing certification studies.
